Technical Sales Manager


About us

Design Reality is a leading Product Design agency founded in 2000.  To support the ongoing growth of the business we’re looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our team.

Role Summary

We’re looking for a Technical Sales Manager who ideally would have knowledge and experience of selling innovative electronic technology to the PPE market however experience in electronic safety devices is also advantageous.

We’ve recently developed some exciting new electronic PPE products and to support the ongoing growth of the business we’re looking for a Technical sales representative to help promote the sales of this range and future developments.

About You

Utilise your strong product knowledge, technical skills, and PPE / Safety Products market knowledge to:

  • Drive new sales of current product line.
  • Develop an in-depth technical knowledge of our products and demonstrate them to potential customers and end users.
  • Articulate the features and benefits of high-tech innovative products to the market.
  • Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate and address client needs.
  • Collaborate internally to help guide future product development.
  • Experience in running sales campaigns
  • Liaise closely with marketing department to develop brand awareness.
  • A solid understanding of the PPE market is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and exemplary presentation ability.
  • The role will involve regular travel
  • Identifying new business opportunities through market understanding and collaboration with customers.
  • Engaging with prospects and qualifying sales opportunities
  • Arranging/attending meetings with new & existing customers
  • Researching and identifying key decision-makers and generating interest in the product range
  • Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects
  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of the team
  • Report on the status of accounts and sales transactions
  • Develop and monitor key sales metrics (and reporting back to Directors)
  • Set new business targets and identify possible alternative markets for the technology.
  • Excellent networker – ability to attend events in and out of hours where necessary

Main responsibilities

Collaborate with senior leadership team to create sales strategy, revenue budget planning, sales plans for industrial a safety market sector.

Skills

  • Experience in running sales campaigns
